I moved out of this hostel as it was unfriendly and people kept having sex in my dorm room with random boys that wandered in as they didnt want to lock the door, didnt feel safe and was very clicky. Lots of 18 year olds treating it like a holiday to Magaulf. Dear Guest, We're very sorry you did not enjoy your experience with us in Boracay and we'd like to address this issue head-on as it is not the kind of behaviour we aim to foster in our hostels.

Had an amazing stay here, stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm. Met some amazing people from various countries. Perfect place to stay and party. The people are a lot of fun. The rooms and pool are very clean. There's a bar and a lot of place to chill. It's at a very good location too. Thanks so much for your review! Mad Monkey is definitely a party hostel. The grounds are fairly impressive compared to most hostels in SE Asia with a giant pool. The staff were super friendly and created a very entertaining atmosphere. The food at the hostel was also very impressive and they had very cheap alcohol.
I recommend staying here for nights for a bit of a party but not much longer than that. They start playing extremely loud music at 8am which disrupted our sleeps. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach from the hostel.
