Every single therapist at Shambala Spa is gifted. I had indeed the chance to get a few treatment Highly recommend!! I get massage about once a month and this is among the best I've had- able to My girlfriend and I travel all over the world and have enjoyed the services of many spas but this one is by far the most professional and relaxing we've ever been to.
I've been to Florianopolis twice in the past few years and this place is the first place i go when i get there. Not only are the massages amazing after a long flight but just stepping foot in the spa brings about an inner peace and calm I've never felt elsewhere.. The massages aren't the only great service offered either. I've never been a very spiritual person but the healings i received there made me a believer!
The life activation, cord cutting, and crystal healings are must.. Eric Thompson is a true miracle man. I strongly recommend when you visit Floripa you stop in to this spa.. We were really looking forward to this massage at the end of our trip before our long flight home. We both had a therapeutic massage - I did mainly because I have chronic problems and knots in my upper back and shoulder area. I explained this to the staff and this was translated to my therapist.
Unfortunately she spent 45 minutes massaging my legs, arms, feet and only left 15 mins for my entire back and shoulders!
No surprise she didn't get to work at any of my problem areas. It's a shame as I otherwise left feeling very relaxed and enjoyed the massage - it just resulted in more problems than benefits. Three stars as it would have been good had I not had any problems with my muscles. Amazingly relaxing. Go there! We walk in Shambala spa and we know it is a place run with the total dedication and love of its owners, Liz and Eric, everything is carefully thought, beautiful, clean with an overall energy that will guarantee that you leave truly relaxed body and mind.
