I will never stay anywhere else in Amsterdam. I lost my laptop charger and the staff loaned me their personal charger. Such a beautiful hotel, located within walking distance to Attractions which you could book at the front desk. From the time we arrived, right up until our departure the staff was very polite and helpful. The Room was very clean, tastefully decorated. The restaurant and bar delicious handcrafted drinks were great value for money. The breakfast buffet was very nice as well, with many selections.
I will definitely be staying here again when i pass back through Amsterdam. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay especially is Amsterdam is going to be a jumping off stop for a cruise or another distination. Great location and friendly staff!
The listing is inaccurate, they don't offer airport transportation. Rooms are tiny, like dorm-room tiny, but well-appointed and clean. Staff was very friendly, but they need to examine your room at checkout, I'd imagine this could cause very long waits to check-out, so plan ahead.
Location was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if travelling for pleasure and I wanted to be close to the centrum. I have stayed at the Singel a number of times over a period of twenty years, or so, and I see no earthly point in paying more for a hotel in Amsterdam.
The hotel was modernised a few years back and is now clean, immaculate almost, and a pleasure to stay at. A big attraction, is that the hotel is away from busy roads and, being set on a lightly-used canal-side road, is very quiet at night. The staff are extremely friendly. Very very good hotel.. Near to everything i. Staff is very friendly.
