A green, family friendly oasis in the middle of the Danube Delta. It's located in the village of Sf Gheorghe St George , near the beach - aprox. The resort looks like a big updated viking village and it is split into 3 regions. It has a fitness center, a restaurant, a pool, mini club, spa center, a cinema that plays for free 2 movies per evening one for kids and one for grown ups. We had an apartment which is nice and big, but poorly lit and has only a double bed in it, so the apartment thing isn't a big deal.
I must mention that the sound insulation is almost non existent - you can hear the occupants of the next apartment like they are in the same room with you - big minus. Pros: - the personnel - the facilities Cons: - expected better food, especially when it comes to fish. Thank you very much for your feedback.
We hope that the next time you will visit Green Vilage Resort you will have a better time, as we are constantly trying to improve our services and our facilities. What can I say? I had big expections Poor fish dishes I think that are not fresh , loooong waiting time, poor service.
Doesn't deserve the prices. Every other place I've eaten in Sfantu Gheorghe had better food. Beautiful place, almost magic if it wasn't for the mosquitos and for the people who work here. At euro or euro a room for the night, you would expect they would at least try to make you feel special. But, No way!! A smile is the most expensive thing here.
The service is horrible, you cand wait like an hour for a soup and the food is worse by the year. At this price, I have some expectations. I was surprised when they asked me for money for each piece of clothing I wanted to wash. Massages are also very expensive, twice the price they have in Bucharest. And the small pool you would think that can enjoy at any time is emptied in the night, so if you want a midnight swim you can forget about it.
